My experience with the team of Dr Ravi chosky have been nothing but beautiful, i am blessed to have been put in his care,thanks very much to all the team that took great care of me,I came at the mercy of these greatest best doctors in new Jersey,with stage four stomach cancer they operated on me , cleaned me up ,and sent me straight to chemo,and it's my biggest testimony,i am doing great right now,what a blessing for the best teamof doctors at university hospital, in Newark, Stefanie Ferrara
Dr. Choski and his team were kind and empathetic when I was desperately searching for answers. He promptly ordered a PET scan — which isn’t easy to get — to locate the source of my ectopic tumor causing severe Cushing’s symptoms. They stayed in consistent contact, which I appreciated. However, the tumor source was ultimately missed. It turned out to be a small lung tumor that had been overlooked, while I was advised it might be in my stomach — even being told I may need to remove 2/3 of it. If I could give negative rating, I would. I want to share a horrific experience I had with Dr. Ravi Chokshi at University Hospital (UH), Newark. Dr. Chokshi performed super invasive surgeries such as an exploratory laparotomy, Thoracotomy and vagotomy on me without explaining a word to me when I was in the emergency. I was intubated with the info that chest tubes will be placed and after intubation he used scare tactics for about 30 min to my husband to get his consent on laparotomy only.
