Dr. Bashyal is an amazing surgeon with an outstanding team. My experience has been excellent. I was always informed and kept up to date on everything. I was outpatient and surgery went smoothly. I highly recommend Dr. Bashyal and his team!
In fall 2022 I had my right knee replacement surgery done by Dr Ravi Bashyal. Prior to the surgery, I had done my homework and investigated many ortho surgeons. I chose Dr. Bashyal based on his reputation and his innovative approach to joint replacement. The surgery went perfectly, and recovery was as expected. When I went to physical therapy, my PT was amazed at how well my knee was operating and how quickly I was back up to speed. My massage therapist told me she had never seen a knee recover so well. Dr. Bashyal is a great surgeon. Good communication, very professional.
I am a year post surgery. To say I am unhappy with the results would be an extreme understatement. My results not only failed to meet my expectations, I am worse off now than when I underwent surgery last June. In a nutshell my knee remains swollen, stiff and painful. Where I was told I could expect to return to an active life short of not running long distances, the reality is that I cannot walk without a limp, navigate slopes nor stairs in any fashion that would be described as normal.
