this restaurant is closed only catering because buddy holly can't find a new restaurant that will take it over and careful with what you eat from buddy holly the kitchen is atrocious I've personally seen it

Visiting Lubbock on business and found this place on google. Everything looked great and time showed it was open. Upon arriving at 5/9/25 around 5pm cst, it looked completely abandoned. I had my family with me and we were forced to stand outside in the rain for another Uber to arrive. Very misleading and impossible to get anyone on the phone to ask any questions. Disappointing is an understatement.

Loved Rave On! We both got burgers and thought they were delicious. The Burrata was a great appetizer and their brisket Mac and cheese was amazing. We didn’t love how thick the steak fries were, but everything else was absolutely delicious and well worth the price.

I previously read on a review that reservations were not needed, "recommended but not required, come on down". My husband and I arrived at 5pm with no reservation...2 tables were occupied. The hostess asked if we had a reservation, I stated no. She said, my next reservation was at 630pm...do you think you'll be done by then? I said, well I guess we would have to be right?
