This is one of the worst movie theaters Ive ever been to. The staff was very rude and inconsiderate. The associate selling us tickets was very fake. When I informed him of a mistake on the board of show times, he just smiled a fake smile and kept telling me that it was sold out, even though the sign clearly said that it was still available. The rave is lovely. I enjoy going there because I can always feel comfortable . At Eastdale, the security guards smothers me. (i"m sixteen). but at the rave, it is a friendly and wonderful atmosphere to people of all ages no matter race or things of that nature . I look forward to going there more often.

Excellent movie theatre, I prefer going here rather than anywhere else. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is helpful.

The Rave is not the only theater in Montgomery. Theres also the Carmike Eastdale 8 and the Capri. Its too bad the Rave put the Wynnsong out of business when they opened, but that seems to be the way of the world these days. A new business doesnt come into town to compete, they come into town to beat. At any rate, the Rave is terrific and although Eastdale 8 is much closer to where I live (try a mile away), its the Rave I always go to.

Its the only movie theater in Montgomery. The facility is nice but I dont like how its the only theater in town. Sometimes, they can be picky on showing certain movies. When Idlewild and The Honeydripper movies first came out, this theater would not show them. A lot of the movies that come to "select" cities do not come to ours. Police are out there, but people like to drop their kids off and let them go crazy sometimes. The movie theaters in Tuscaloosa, Oxford, Mobile, and Birmingham are much better in my opinion.
