This doctor is the best there is. My mom and I had him for over 30 years. We were so lucky as he is a caring man, very knowledgeable doctor. He would not give up on your issues. He is a doctor who would not guess what your problem is. He would test and find the real facts/issue. We will miss him very much as our family doctor. I wish him the best on his retirement. I've been going to doctors constantly on the aurora network for three years due to a chronic illness and I've been treated in ways that no human should ever be treated, but Dr Raul Mateo was different, listened to me closely and patiently, he looked at my issues, did a physical evaluation, he seemed genuinely concerned and he made me feel hopeful about future tests, procedures and appointments, medical trauma is real, doctors like him should be the rule not the exception.
