I saw Dr. Rauch in September 2021 for an initial appointment for horrible dizziness (so bad that I had to quit my job) where he was very condescending and sexist... he diagnosed me within 20 seconds of me talking saying it is just a classic women's vestibular migraine diagnosis (he cut me off from ever finishing up with my symptoms/explanation). I had an experience similar to Toni's. He sent a resident in, Dr. David unannounced. I'd been at New England ENT at Newton Wellesley for 4 months and got a TMJ diagnosis which I knew was just textbook IDK. So sought out otoneurologist at Mass Eye & Ear who said I "wasn't a good match". I have post Covid imbalance, sense of ears at 20,000 ft since 11/22. I have so much respect for Dr.Rauch. He is one of the best doctors that I have met in my life. He may not look super personal when you first meet him but if you pay attention to his words then you can tell that he has a warm, gentle and caring heart for his patients. I am definitely on the anxious side with medical appointments and results. Dr. Rauch has been clear, supportive, and observant. I've seen Dr. Rauch for many years for treatment and assistance with Meniere's. He is fantastic. He has helped me manage my symptoms, hearing loss, and acute attacks. He listens to me as a patient and cares. I've seen many doctors over the years for Meniere's and he is the only one who has demonstrated that he really understands the disease and can propose appropriate treatment. It is a relief to know I have a trusted professional to help me.
