Dodgy practices - main number always diverts to a disconnected mobile number. And never replies to messages sent via social media.
I am a manager for a property built by Ratcliffe BG in 2011 and needed copies of the oroginal plans. I sent in an email and the following week they replied with a PDF of a full set of plans. Most builders just ignore these requests so they get 5 stars for service from me.
If you choose to go with this rogue builder keep aside $100,000 for a legal battle. This is when you have found that many short cuts had been taken and to get your unit project finished to an acceptable standard it will costs hundreds of thousands to fix. I also wouldn't recommend David to anyone. He was very convincing at the start but once he received the final payment from the bank he showed his true colours. He didn't want to know about rectifying any of the defects I had and was quite abrupt in telling me that they were "finished to an acceptable standard". We initially communicated that we wanted high quality build for our family home, for the money spent we were very disappointed in the end :(
