I ordered the ghee-roasted chicken, but unfortunately, I was really disappointed with it. The chicken had almost no flavor or taste at all. It looked good because of the color, but the actual dish was completely lacking in seasoning and masala. I couldn’t taste the ghee, spices, or any of the flavors I was expecting from a ghee-roasted chicken. It felt like the dish was prepared mainly to look appealing, but the taste and seasoning were missing. Overall, it was very bland and didn’t meet my expectations.
I often am suspicious of newer restaurants with high reviews, but I'm pleased to say that Rasoi's 5 stars are well deserved. I usually have to truck out to Waltham or Sudbury for good Indian food, but was very pleased with the food at Rasoi. My habit when visiting a new place is to ask "This is my first time - what food should I really not miss?".
