I highly recommend Dr. Rashida N’gouamba! I am a VERY anxious person when it comes to medical procedures—especially colposcopies—but she made my first experience so comfortable and reassuring. Dr. N'Gouamba started as my OBGYN for my regular checkups. Then when I became pregnant, she delivered my 1st baby. Every time I saw her, she was kind, honest, straight-forward which I appreciated, answered all my questions, and was available when I had an emergency or off-hour questions. Her team was always kind. My delivery was an unexpected c-section that happened in a matter of hours. I was scared of the C-section process and she consoled me that everything will be alright. I am beyond lucky to have found Dr. N’gouamba! She is extremely thorough and professional. She is also very personable and has excellent bedside manner. Had a pretty terrible experience. She was 50 minutes late to my appointment and was visibly rushing through it. Kind of shamed me for making the decision to go off birth control after being on it for 7 years and just wanting to see if my symptoms had improved. Then told me she'd write me a prescription (for the same birth control I've been on for 7 years) and send it to the pharmacy on file. Amazing doctor. Dr. N'gouamba took the time to read my intake answers and followed-up about them during our initial visit. She took the time to look at my test results, explain the entire picture of my situation, and also sent me home with good information.
