My father is a patient on Booker 3. Early this morning at9:21 AM I received notification that my father was admitted. At 9:29 AM I spoke with him and he seemed somewhat lethargic and told me briefly he presented with some stomach pain and distention. He explained a Nasogastric tube was inserted. This review is for the Laboratory Department. I went there November 15th for blood work and the next day I received a call from them telling me that they didn’t turn the page to notice that there other tests that had to be taken. I went back November 18th and now they called me back November 30th to tell me they were still missing more tests. This is the best example for incompetence and negligence! I have had family become an emergency patient at Jersey Shore Meridian Health, and they were, and are, categorically wonderful. The only thing Perth Amboy does is pass the buck. They can't be bothered contacting primary health physicians when a person is admitted, unconcious, for emergencies.

Used to be one the greatest of hospitals. I don't know what happened, but the place is now dirty, the nurses are rude and incompetent. The doctor that was taking care of my father just wanted to give him heavy duty painkiller after painkiller; morphine one day, percocet the other. Six days no one came to bathe him, no one mopped the floor.
