My visit was on the 4th of July. Presented with leg swelling which continued to swell while in the ER. My blood work showed possible issues with my kidneys. Those that treated me were concerned about potential blood clots due to my history with AFIB. I was told that they typically have the resources to scan for the blood clots but it was the holiday and they didn’t have any to run the scans. The Emergency Department at RGH is a blessing to our community. Every time I have gone, I have received top notch care. From the doctors to the receptionists, everyone is so skilled and caring. I am very grateful for everything.
