Unbelievably sad and poorly planned “park”. A heat magnet with no greenery, and no interaction with the street scape. Waste of tax money - surely we can do better?
Look out for this guy he brings his boxer here and lets him off leash and doesn’t clean up after him.
New public outdoor space is particularly welcome in this densely built area. Apparently the low amount of trees and greenery is due to NY Dept of Environmental Protection's ongoing need to access the site. Rapkin-Gayle Plaza has a 3.6 star rating with 21 reviews.
Rapkin-Gayle Plaza is closed now. It will open at 9:00 a.m.
