My friend went here to get his fiance's brakes fine tuned.... as in a simple adjustment. We did the adjustment ourselves, got close to the tension we were looking for, but figured we'd have a professional get the tension/feel perfect. Rapid Transit Cycleshop told him they needed to do a $125 "Deluxe Assembly" to take apart the bike, reassemble it and make all necessary adjustments. They wouldn't have the bike back to him for 2-3 weeks. We went home, got on YouTube, and finished tuning the brakes in 10 minutes. They are lookin... read more

Very helpful and friendly staff. I brought my bike in with a flat and they were able to fix it in no time while also squeezing in a quick wash. Thank you RTC!

From a service standpoint, Rapid Transit did a great job keeping me informed, getting the work done quickly, and generally being well priced. I just went in bc my bike wouldn't stay in gear. It's an older bike, so I feared the worst. A guy came right up, asked what the problem was, tweaked a couple things with his screwdriver and sent me on my way, no charge. He said that older bikes get loose in certain spots and you just have to keep tweaking certain things. Huge help! I'll definitely be back with the inevitable bigger problem knowing I'll get an honest assessment

I got my folding bicycle here. The staff who helped me were very friendly and eager to answer the few questions I had. They have a very good selection of bicycles for the city riding.
