It took me a long time to decide to reach out and schedule for counseling. Trying to finally work through trauma and grief. Only to have the person at the front desk answering calls being very unwelcoming.

I bring my foster son to Rapid City Counselors to see Jenny. She is amazing with him. She always greats us with a smile and he is excited for his play therapy. Following his sessions she always provides feedback to me. She is also promptly responsive to emails of concerns and struggles we are experiencing at home. When we were referred here by his primary care the intake process was quick and efficient and we were met with friendliness. Scheduling sessions has been quite accommodating to our personal schedule. I do not recommend them. I called and they do not have any openings even though they say they have five clinicians with openings. The guy that answered the phone was very difficult and did not want to help get anything set up. So if you need help do not call this place

The staff is supportive, knowledgeable and welcoming. It's a great environment to heal and work on your wellbeing.
