Dr. Gopalam is great. She is a caring physician and very thorough. the one-star rating here is not even for this practice (its for a pediatrician's office)
Dr. Daniel Lee has been my physician for over 10 years. He is fantastic! Back then I was taking high doses of bp meds, 4 pills a day, and he has been able to get that down to one low-dose pill a day. My bp is better than it has been in 50+ years. Dr. Lee is very easy to deal with. Oh, Somerset Pediatric Group, where do I begin...My twins were born in New Brunswick, and this group is an affiliate of the hospital. Dr. Youngerman was the first pediatrician we saw: gruff, in a rush, not listening. I asked a question about immunizations and got an angry "vaccines are not connected to autism" lecture from him, even though my question had nothing to do with that issue. The issue is the way the company handles the billing of CRNAand physician. It is widely known in the industry that insurance companies overpay anesthesia groups by ignoring the procedure modifiers and allowing the full amount for both claims. The anesthesia billing system would have the correct allowable for each claim at only 50%. Therefore when the insurance overpay, it should appear asan overpayment. Told anesthesiologist that I am highly allergic to anesthesia. Told me he was giving me anti-nausea medicine prior to 5 hour operation. Where was was he when I was throwing my guts up in recovery for four hours. NOW I received an additional bill (356.00) after he was paid $2400.00 in full prior to operation. Take my word for it you do not want this crook any where near your legal issues. He does work for free, but we all know nothing is really free is it? He drew up a will the day my father died and it's very coincidental that now he is selling his house. THE NJ BAR should be ashamed they allow him to be licensed, to take advantage of dying residents.
I went into Immediate Care on Monday for Conjunctivitis and I was prescribed eye drops. They did not work, so I called back on Thursday for a stronger prescription. No one called back. I called again on Friday, and they stated that it must have been a mis-diagnosis, and that I need to come back in, and, by the way, I have to pay the $50 again! Dr. Jongco is a great doctor but her staff is the worse I don't even know who the office manager is but they need to be replaced or retrained. I called for 2 weeks straight and left a voicemail each time for them to call me back to set up an appointment it never happened. I had to take my business somewhere else even though I been a patient there for many years but you can't continue to run a office like that so unprofessional .
