I’ve never been disregarded by a health care provider the way I was here. Zero concern and acted very annoyed that I was concerned my child could not breath.
Dr. Rao Botta was kind and answered my questions but in a rather simple way - I definitely felt as if I had to dig for more clarity and left with some confusion. It was explained that egg and dairy allergies don't pose an anaphylaxis risk; that only peanuts and fish do. My Pediatrician seemed very confused by this when I explained my daughter who is allergic to eggs didn't need an EpiPen because she wasn't at risk of anaphylaxis with an egg allergy. Office staff was short, but efficient. Dr. Botta was very kind and patient with my 14 year old daughter. I was shown test results immediately. Dr. Botta explained the results and excellent methods to prevent exposure to allergens. I definitely recommend this office!
