I had an appointment for an arthroscopy with dr Anita rao only to be told they weren’t gonna do it because she determined that based off my xray that there wasn’t anything she could do and proceeded to go on about physical therapy and I told her I had been doing physical therapy for awhile and then she looked at my medical chart and saw that I’ve been consistently been doing physical therapy since July . I would not recommend Dr. Rao. I made an appointment to see Dr. Rao due to a knee injury in January. It was very hard to get a visit to see a doctor (due to the fact that they'rebooked out), and she was the soonest available one, a month later! First impressions were not that great. She hardly made any eye contact with me throughout the whole visit. I felt very rushed. She did a quick look over my knee and told me to show her how I walked on it. Should have never had shoulder surgery. I had 100% mobility before. Maybe 40 % now. Did not get physical therapy afterwards to get movement,just to take measurements. Was told there were problems and only got the ball and not the socket. Nevertheless I was not worked with as far as rehabilitation just fast tracked after surgury. Something is not right and in constant pain.
