Good – The best part of the restaurant was clearly the service. The wait staff was funny, very understanding on preparing certain foods certain ways. They went out of their way to make our dining experience magical. The food was average, even though we ordered off the menu, I had a feeling it was probably from the buffet earlier. Best Indian Food – I have been there with a few friends a couple of times . The lunch buffet is amazing and at an unbelievable price.The ambience is great and the service is prompt and with a very friendly staff.The dinner is even more impressive with a wide variety of choices on the menu and we were even allowed to customize the food based on our taste as much as possible. I would recommend this restaurant over any other indian restaurant in NY and will continue to enjoy their food as frequently as possible.
Best Indian Food in the Tri State! – I walked into Rani Mahal already knowing I love Indian food but wasn't expecting it to exceed my expectations. The service was impeccable. More importantly, the lunch buffet was perfection. I'd never been to an Indian restaurant for lunch before and was extremely impressed with the selection, QUALITY (delicious) and the price was unbeatable. I've since gone back for lunch several times and dinner. I'm hooked.

If you're looking for a wonderful Indian lunch, this is the place! The buffet was fresh, hot and delicious! There was a large assortment of foods, about 12-15 dishes to choose from (including vegetarian, chicken and lamb) plus rice, breads, salad and desserts. The service was great, and it was a total bargain! I will definitely be back! YUM!
