I was told my teeth are too large for my mouth. Had a total of 4 premolars extracted to "make room". I fast forward 10 years and I have SEVERE TMJ issues. Please find Airway friendly orthodontist. My flared teeth would have been better than constant headaches and jaw pain. 😩 clearly these dentists are not on track with new research and recommendations.... Do not let these people tell you that you need teeth removed. Function over cosmetic. Severe TMJ pain that stemmed after ortho.
My TMJ was severely compromised by the ortho I received specifically after extractions. Constant headaches, SEVERE jaw pain, tinnitus and more. These aren't even the half of my symptoms. FIND AN AIRWAY FRIENDLY ORTHODONTIST. Function trumps cosmetic
It’s incredibly disappointing that the ownership transfer of the Castle Rock location has gone so poorly. The new management has essentially abandoned the patients at the Castle Rock location. Phone calls and emails go unreturned and promises to follow up on things never happen. I have left voicemails for both the smile studio and the Rangewood orthodontics treatment coordinator, all of which go on returned. I did not want to leave a bad review here but unfortunately after being ghosted since getting my braces off I am let down by the business. I got my braces off on June 3rd 2021 and almost immediately after getting home I realized how my bite was still off by a good amount. I then scheduled an appointment to have a consultation to see what could be done to fix my issue, during the consultation I was told that I was “Lucky I was allowed to have them on longer than my contract said it would take.” even though I had already paid ... read more
