I'm from here but never realized that this place had been built. Nice selection of guns. They had a number of guns different from the same old stuff that you see everywhere else. A few made it onto my list. Prices were reasonable, not overpriced. Only negative is that staff weren't Texans. Cultural assumptions were a bit off. Didn't seem to relate to local norms. Another negative was that they check your drivers license to buy ammo and then save it in their computer and didn't seem to understand what that made me very hesita... read more

Best range I have ever shot at. The employees are knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Their ship to store for products not in the store, is fast. I hope that new shooters will read my review, and will come to see this range as the best place to shoot in this area. There is a Range Safety Officer at the Round Rock Range USA named Ron. I have watched Ron provide friendly and accurate assistance to new shooters and many of us old guys. He makes a day at the range so enjoyable, he needs to be pointed out. Don’t sign up for a membership or you’ll be stuck in it. I requested it be cancelled in February/March via their support link on the website and I have been charged every month. This sucks because I do enjoy going to this location on occasion to shoot, but after this, I’ll have to find another place.

I’ve never ever really been a fan of indoor ranges, but the way Range USA does things made me end up becoming a member after just one visit. Their indoor ranges are top tier with regard to ventilation, sound levels, range culture, and how professional and on-point their range masters are. The team inside the store from gun sales, to customer service, to course instructors are all top tier as well. Everyone is super kind, courteous, and helpful.
