Dr. Raney quite literally saved my life. He was gentle, caring, and really helped me made sense of my extreme feelings. He has a wholeisttic approach, tests, and truly listens. He focuses on individual behavior and ways to adjust, hold yourself accountable and with patience I found myself healing from the inside. One therapy session isn't going to fix a life of trauma. He was dedicated and invested in me. He cares more about the person than the hourly rate. Highly recommend for serious, do the work, type of people.
My experience with Dr. Raney has been extremely beneficial and I highly reccomend him for anyone seeking a therapist. 5 stars
His “counseling” actually did more harm than good in our marriage. He is clearly misogynistic, let my husband do most of the talking and never addressed my husbands anxiety/anger problems at all. When I asked in frustration if maybe my husband and I would be better off friends his response was that most couples should just be friends . He and his wife lived separate at the time and got along better that way, he said.
