Was refered to Randy's by a gas station employee. After they found out was from out of town they went to work and found out what went wrong under the hood and replaced the bad part. Since I was from out of town I kept my old part and went on my way. They told me it was a bad alternator and bill was more than I thought it should be. I took the car to my shop back home and told them what happend. After they checked out my old alternator and reviewed the bill and they said they would have charged me about the same. I went to Randy's Texaco because I was told they would put my vehicle on the computer and diagnose my problem. Well I explained that my battery was being drained and it had something to do with the radio, and I asked for a tuneup and for freon to be added to truck; I was told I needed an instrument cluster and part would cost $400 plus labor, well I knew of someone that could replace part and install it for less than $300 so I asked Randy's to go ahead and do tuneup and add freon to vehicle and my cost for thus was a mere $6... read more
