Doctor walked in took one look at me and frowned. He introduced himself with a limp handshake and asked why I was there (pressure edema, referred by 3 doctors and a hospital). Without looking at my chart, he looked at me and said “You just have to lose 50lbs and the swelling will stop, are you on a GLP-1”. Had he even LOOKED at my chart he would know why I am not on one and my weight is from prednisone not from eating but no he sees someone overweight and just shrugged me off. I was greeted at the door by the receptionist curtiously, was seated in the waiting room, and greeted by a nurse who escorted me to an examination room until the doctor came in to see me. It was a great experience
