The host decided to shut down my AC without notifying me, and I am supposed to be in one the more luxurious rooms. When asked about why, he said that the AC was making too much noise, so my room no longer has AC. There was no further explanation. I paid for a room with AC and did not get what I paid for. I will not be recommending this place to my colleagues at UNSW.

The hotel is in a great, very convenient location, which made getting around easy and stress free. Everything was clean and well cared for, and the room felt comfortable and welcoming. The shared kitchen was a real highlight — spacious, well equipped, and with an excellent coffee machine that we really enjoyed using. Jeff is a wonderful host, very welcoming and friendly, and made us feel genuinely at home.
This was one of the best places in Australia when it comes to the price / value. The place is calm and tidy and the host is nice.
