I scheduled a consultation for chronic burning in both feet, tailbone pain, and bladder urgency. My MRI documented sacral Tarlov cysts involving the S1–S2 foramina with nerve root displacement, along with foraminal narrowing at L5–S1. Dr. McCafferty is professional, thorough and has a pleasant bedside manner. I highly recommend. He also listens to you and you do not feel rushed.
I was very disappointed in my appointment today with Dr. McCafferty. He was rude, spoke over me and disregarded everything I said. My back pain has been an ongoing issue for the past 10-15 years, with sciatica pain for the past 3-4 years, getting worse. He acted like I did know what sciatica was!! I proceeded to tell him all the treatments I've done...PT, shots and radioactive ablation with none of them helping. He suggested PT....really!? This was a waste of my time and co-pay (which is expensive). I'm looking elsewhere for... read more
He was very thorough and was very patient and explained everything clearly, his staff was very helpful as well.id highly recommend him
