Dr. Romeya provided excellent explanations of my need for an unexpected double bypass and how the operation would proceed. My family and I were assured by his demeanor and as I have recovered wonderfully, I am extremely pleased with the procedure and recommend him.
Dr. Romeya like to have his patients pass away during surgery or right after surgery due to his incompetence as a Cardio-Thoracic surgeon. Do whatever you want, but be prepared to pass on if you select Dr. Romeya as a surgeon.
She truly cares about her patients and listen to them. She also is good to push back a little when I get a little complacent with taking care of myself.
I’ve suffered from years of disabling symptoms. He immediately asked why I didn’t see a neurologist closer to me. When I told him my symptoms he made condescending remarks about every symptom I reported, like why I couldn’t remember what I did DURING a seizure. Treated me like a liar basically. Then on exam made dismissive comments about obvious findings. Then offers zero explanation of anything, suggested it could be psychological but orders multiple expensive tests anyways. Then wants to consult 3 other specialist to diagno... read more

Should have read reviews, he only does migraines & carpal tunnel. He began by asking why I didn’t see a neurologist closer to home. Then argued or chastising me over every symptom I had before ever assessing me. This is a follow up from being hospitalized for a neuromuscular disorder that’s rapidly worsening. Upon exam he offered no explanation or knowledge of my subjective symptoms or his objective findings. He didn’t even know which tests to run to pursue a diagnosis. When gently asked to do biopsies, he refused. Instead o... read more

I have visited several doctors over my life span. Dr. Schnick is the best.
I found him to be concerned about his pay, his vacations, and his children. About me as a patient, not so much. I was his patient for a year, and I had misgivings from the moment I met him. The waits were terrible. He made a pretty serious mistake on my medical records that I had to inform him about. He wouldn't listen to me when I had concerns. My gut feeling was to drop him, and I so wish I had listened to my gut feeling. I didn't, and then I almost had a disaster. Listen to your gut with this guy.
I drive an hour to see her because I trust her so much. She’s a very attentive listener, and she knows me better than any other doctor I’ve seen over the past 10-15 years. She always makes sure to consider my entire health history when diagnosing any new symptoms. That’s hard to find. Can’t recommend her enough!
Patient, answers questions so I understand, cheerleader, positive, and excellent bedside manner.
