While in the Army, I knew quite a few guys who had and spoke highly of their Randall knife. Some were gifts from their father or another family member. They were excellent knives, but I never thought I would purchase one. A few years later, I bought a Model 25 made to my specifications. 6" stainless steel blade, Mexican Desert ironwood handle, with a brass butt cap. It is a beautiful blade that I am proud to own. The museum was amazing! Great displays. The gentleman who greeted us was very personable and my wife and I enjoyed talking with him about the knives and their history. We own three of their knives so it was a really special place for us. Check in at the office/shop. Drive or walk over to the house, it’s the wrought iron gated door to enter the museum.
One of best custom knife makers in the world. If you are looking for a museum extolling reasons to buy their products, you are going to be disappointed with a visit. These knives are the stuff of legend and years long waiting list. Knives that people bet their lives on whether on the moon, deep in the ocean or in the the hottest of wartime conflicts. If you need to be sold on a product, look elsewhere. This place is mecha for a certain type of real man.
