I brought my cat in after having issues with treatment at another vet. Dr. Engelsen and Dr. Guthrie have both worked with my cat, Lily, and helped stabilize her despite her numerous health problems. They always get back to me if I call in with questions and are so extremely helpful. You feel like one of the family with their staff.
I took my newly adopted chihuahua straight from the shelter to the staff at Rancho Sequoia. Not only was the staff loving and sweet with him (he was a bit traumatized), but the doctor was genuinly caring. She answered all my questions, and got my pup back in tip top shape in no time (he had parasites and several rotted teeth). I have had a lot of experience with vets who seemed to care more about cash than my animals, but I can say that it's truly not the case here. I'm so glad I finally found a vet I can trust!!!!
I can't believe how amazing everyone at this clinic is! The receptionists are amazingly friendly and the doctors are outstanding. I've seen both doctors and I'm impressed by how exceptional they both are. I highly recommend this vet!
Amazing staff and docs! – I have been looking for a good vet FOREVER and I finally found one in Dr. Engelsen. She is just so wonderful and on days when she's not in, her partner doctor, Dr. Guthrie is amazing too. They are both so sweet and provide such fabulous care. If you are looking for vets you can trust, you should go to them!
I have never met such a caring and wonderful woman. She saved my dog's life! I brought him in vomiting and looking like death. She saw him immediately and found a super tiny bee stinger stuck inside his lip. She removed it, got him on fluids and had him ready to go home hours later. I can't believe her poise and expertise as I frantically screamed over her shoulder that my dog was dying. Thank you Dr. Engelsen!!!!
Hello, I walked in to set up an appointment, but since my dog was with me they said they could fit me in. I waited in the waiting room for an hour! Then they put me in a room and I waited for over 15 minutes until the vet tech came in the room. She weighed him and took his temperature and left. Then the doctor came in over 10 minutes later spent 2 minutes with my dog moving his front leg and said she would bring back an estimate of cost for sedation. The vet tech came back with a $600 bill and that was all she wrote!!!! The ... read more
