I'm an EMT student reaching the end of my course and seeking clinical hours for more exposure to the medical world. Within my practice, I've known many EMT students who had the chance to do tours at Medical Examiner offices to better their practice and to learn how an ME office works as well as sit in on autopsies to better understand gross anatomy. My dad said he felt so comfortable and that all the staff were great and that she was so happy he would die here. I haven't seen here since :D

If you have the unfortunate experience of losing a loved one and you have to deal with the Ramsey County Coroners office, know that you will be treated with respect and they are very nice people who are there to help you in a very hard time. Every time I have called for information or to get the coroner's report they have been so helpful and have said how sorry they are for our loss. Know that your loved one is being taken care of by people who care and care about how you feel during this hard time.
