Wharton has been our family dentist since he came to Roanoke in the 1970's. His care is consistently excellent and he has been wonderful with our kids. They are now bringing their kids to him! He is caring, always following up after difficult procedures and is a first class gentleman. We recommend him highly. He has also chosen well his new associate Dr. Irby who will be able to add to the quality expected of this practice.
I had two chipped front teeth that another dentist tried to repair multiple times but the fill material would fall / break off a few days later every time. I showed the chipped teeth to Dr David Irby and he said he was confident that he could permanently repair them, so I made an appointment. The receptionist Pam and the dental assistant Nicole couldn’t be nicer and more warmly professional. Every step of my process was phenomenal ! Checking in was a breeze, Dr. Irby was amazing, quick and was constantly checking on me during my extraction. I would recommend this facility to anyone- I will never go to another office again !
Wharton was my childhood dentist in the 80s and having had dental work all over the East Coast as an adult I can attest he is the best dentist not only in the Roanoke Valley but on the east coast
