We've found this clinic to be the best mental health care clinic in Sydney/Illawarra. The staff deeply care for the patients and actually spend good quality time with them. I hope it continues for years, as it's quite different to most of the city clinics.
I'm unsure about why there are so many negative reviews but everyone is entitled to their opinion. I personally found the staff to be amazing, they were so caring towards me and the whole program is trauma informed. Of course you are highly encouraged to attend the group sessions but the staff are really supportive of listening to your body and what you are needing. I highly recommend the clinic to anyone considering coming here.
I can’t recommend this clinic enough and really want to express that I had a life changing experience during my first stay. I’m going back again for the next program. I think many people have expressed their feelings being here very negatively but that is reasonable if they didn’t have a good experience.
