My experience with Dr Cas Schrueder has been dangerous and negligent. For years he handed out overlapping Schedule 8 stimulants from different drug classes with no proper monitoring. At times I had four active stimulant prescriptions at once. This was reckless, unjustified, and issued without even checking SafeScript, despite it being a legal requirement in Victoria. It’s a shame to see such low reviews as this definitely did not reflect my experience at all. I honestly believe this place has changed so many people lives. The nurses are the best of the best they geniually care. No matter what they are always there for you. It’s such a clean warm welcoming place and the rooms are very modern. Food is great and never left hungry. I see Dr Vikas here and he has literally changed my life and I could never be more thankful. A GP referral was sent to this clinic over a month ago which cited "management of increasing depression and intermittant suicidal ideation", "significant emotional blunting, loss of motivation and complete anhedonia", "contemplated overdosing", "to be urgently assessed". No one has been in touch. I phoned myself and left a voicemail which also cited the above and no one has phoned me back.
Adolescent discharged after 7 weeks and four + extra medications prescribed. After terrible communication to the family during the stay, three weeks post discharge trying to get any form of communication re discharge= zero response. Meds running out, no scripts two days of meds left. My insights- 1 nurse at night for 8 patients, dinner is off ward so if one doesn’t want to go then none do. When questioned it was “ something they are looking into” no back up for staff on sick leave, inadequate plans for one on one treatment. ... read more
