Ramparts Restaurant is Shady They overcharged me almost $90 and my account overdrafted. When I called I spoke with the general manager "Amy Fritz" barely offered an apology. According to her it was a voided transaction and it should be refunded. Well it has been four days and it still has not been refunded. That is pretty bad customer service. I will not be going back and I recommend that no one else take the risk of going either.
Mediocre Service is OK, food is mediocre and overpriced. A white bread kind of place.
re: Love the Prices!! Some of the best onion rings I've ever had!! Burger night on Monday's are pretty good too! I like both sides--a bar side with picnic type tables and a full bar to eat and drink at--plus a dinning type restaraunt next door.
Game on This place is great, unless you are looking for peace and quiet. On Saturday's in the Fall, alumni groups from the SEC dominate the place, with seperate rooms decorated for various teams that frequent the establishment. The food is typical, but the prices are great, as are the drink specials. If you do not like the Gators or the Dawgs, though, stay away on Saturdays. Also a popular place for many local recreational leagues to head post-game
Ramparts-A Neighborhood Bar The Northern Virginia area lacks neighborhood bars where you can walk to from home grab a beer, watch the game without having to descend into the driving and parking nightmare. Ramparts allows patrons to belly up to the bar and relax, no pretentiousness with the staff and peanuts at the bar! Some local college alumni groups hold their football socials but other than that it is mostly people from Fairlington and Park Fairfax.
