Can’t say enough good things about Dave and the team at Ramona Avionics. I had an issue with my comms randomly cutting out and approached the folks within the shop about who I needed to talk to - I was directed to Dave. Dave graciously gave me 10 to 15 minutes of his time to describe and discuss the issue - this is HUGE as most avionics shops are slammed with work and rarely entertain a side conversation. Dave at Ramona Avionics is a first-class guy. I diverted to RNM due to a stuck mic. I taxied into the avionics shop hoping they could help. I was greeted by Dave and his staff, who stopped what they were doing to tackle my issue. They had it figured out and fixed within 30 minutes, free of charge! I recently purchased a Cessna 182 and brought it over to Ramona Avionics for an avionics upgrade. I asked to have my defective attitude indicator and HSI replaced with the new Garmin GI 275 digital units, plus a fuel flow sensor, and new digital clock. I explained to Dave that my plane's autopilot wasn't able to fly the glideslope on an ILS or GPS approach. It seemed to only be able to fly the localizer on approaches.
