Truly horrific and traumatic experience with this physician. He was friendly and kind at first but things drastically changed over time. He is pompous, rude, crass, indifferent and unwilling to accommodate special, unique medical needs. Writing this right now makes me want to cry because of how difficult my experience has been with Dr. Vera as my primary care physician. Friendly and nice while he signs you up for thousands of dollars in tests you don't need that aren't covered by insurance. Never going back to him again
Dr Vera is an Excellent doctor. He listens carefully, he thinks, and after he makes a diagnosis. In my case, always right. He saved my life twice. Thank you Dr Vera.
This doctor, after examining me, said that it was possible that I had an abdominal aortic aneurysm, and needed a CT scan. And after nearly a week of stress for me and my wife and thinking I may die at any moment, he tells me that the CT showed nothing!!!! Don't use this physician!!!!!
Dr. Vera is up to date with his medical knowledge, he is a caring, a good listener, takes a holistic view of his patients. follow up after specialists needed, hospitalizations, it is more important to him to provide care, there for his patients. Patients that have to change insurance due to the health care system, he will do all that is possible to decrease the stress of having to change to another provider. signing with new insurance of his patients to facilitate continuity of care.
Dr Vera is very knowledgeable and takes time to discuss your medical issues and concerns with you. Good bed side manners and follows up on recommended specialists. I have recommended him to a cousin who is pleased with him.
