My boyfriends truck quit on on him this past Friday and we had it towed here. He let them know that it maybe the alternator but was unsure and wanted them to take a look at it and let us know what was wrong. Told him they would not get to it until Tuesday or Wednesday later that following week. He got a call today (Wednesday) that it was in fact the alternate and it was going to cost $815 dollars.
