Great surgeon that does not sugar coat anything. Him and his staff (his office and at SSM) were amazing. They took great care of me when I didn’t have anyone there with me for the surgery.
First experience at st Clare. Very pleased with the care. Unfortunately had to spend 7 daysin the hospital and glad it was on the 2nd floor. Went through 14 nursing shifts and only one slightly bad experience. Charge nurse Mel was an absolute gem along with several others being awesome. As far as Dr Silverman and Dr Perkins they were first class.

Amazing. Not my first hospital stay by far but other than 2 stints in therapy my best. Wonderful staff beautiful facility, being there on a bad situation made so much better by where I was. Can’t praise enough. The staff is doing their best but could use a lot more support, more people! Dr. Silverman fixed up my insides, all went well. I like his bedside manner, he’s honest and to the point. At 76 everything is scary but I was in good hands!
So, I had many existing issues that made my experience very much different than most Surgeries. This is why I am sharing. I presented at Taulk Urgent care in South County . I was in pretty bad shape, I had a diverticula or three getting ready to burst and at first went to St Lukes. Not understanding the seriousness of my illness and the fact that 4 doctors couldn't quit arguing about my care outside me door.. I did check out.
