I used to live next to Raley's for 7 years as was a prominent shopper and I was never greeted and harassed as I was today 4/1/25. I stopped to use the restroom and waited for an employee to open the door as they added a pin to use the bathroom but once the employee opened the door she mumbled walking away I couldn't decipher what she said so I ignored it then after I was done using the bathroom I started to walk around the store and I was greeted by LP (loss prevention) as he mumbled and smiled, I walked away. Never shopping here again. The cashiers are slow and the customer service is bad.
I went here to buy items for my anniversary dinner. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of asking Brenda for help at the self-checkout. She rolled her eyes when I asked her for help, passive-aggressively called me a pain, and snapped at me. She smiled and was helpful to the white man I was shopping with. Weird. I spent over $100 on this one short shopping trip. My instinct told me to just go to SaveMart. The workers are always helpful, welcoming, and not racist. Good variety of food items. I find them to be overpriced throughout except for the coffee center where you can buy prepared coffee
