I'm very disappointed in this Raleigh oaks behavioral center. I don't feel they helped my son at all. He was there for a few days, and no one called to discuss any plans with me until I called many times. I was told by case management Megan that they could not help him get a place even though he was living in a camper with unstable mental health. Her words were " he has to do this himself". If you are an educated female professional of color, DO NOT APPLY HERE for any leadership position!! This facility allows one director to maliciously lie, scheme, and overstep unchecked and has caused qualified & dedicated individuals to leave! There is a great mix of hardworking and compassionate staff that really care about the patients but the toxic culture that is imbedded within administration makes it challenging to remain motivated

My daughter was admitted there on Friday. I  found out because a therapist called me to get information that she wasn’t able to give them because she was apparently too lethargic. I gave her information of her prior health history. I have Not heard from my daughter’s doctors the entire time. I have called multiple times to speak to my daughter only to be told I needed a code to talk to her but she was too drugged up and altered to call and give me one. Don’t do it. Worst place in North Carolina.  No return phone calls, will not transfer your call to the patient.  Will make your loved one worse!  Scam facility.

This place is by far one of worst place, I was once a residence here and the staff were utterly horrible. The staff here treated patients horrible, acting as if they were just crazy. Most patients here had PTSD and other mental disorders this place is supposed to help others. the staff acted as if you weren't even a human. Even asking something as simple as toilet paper was too much for them. patients are stuck on the unit all day unless it's for food and group. even then you'd be rushed to finish your food.
