The house was eventually built, but the experience with RALCO Builders was extremely negative and dragged on long after the build itself. We dealt with leaks, sloppy workmanship, and corners being cut. During later work, we found debris left inside walls, voluminous wood scraps stuffed into ducts, issues with quality at every turn. Chronic up-billing, and there were ongoing issues with town and code requirements that were not properly handled during the build and later became our problem to fix. In 2008, Ellen and I trusted Ralco Builders with the biggest purchase of our lives.
