A satisfying experience I tried my first bento box at Raku. The restaurant is conveniently located in downtown Bethesda; however, parking on the street is a hassle. The price is a little on the expensive side, but this can be expected at any quality sushi restaurant. Both of my eating experiences at Raku have left me satisfied and I cannot wait to go back there sometime in the future.
Healthy One of the best Sushi restaurants in Bethesda. Must try is the Seaweed salad, Binto Boxes and their famous cornmeal breaded Calamari. Excellent service and food is fresh and reasonably priced.

I walked by looking for a late Friday lunch spot and the place was packed, which I took as a very good sign. I wasn’t disappointed. The Deluxe Bento 🍱 box was fabulous, an ample selection of fish, tempura and beef. Wow! I sat at the sushi bar and received excellent waitress service. No wonder it is so popular!
This is the only sushi place my wife and I go to. Never have I been disappointed in the food here. The curry soup is fantastic, but I really come for the sashimi and rolls. As others stated tables are small and place is noisy. Wait staff got our orders right but sometimes hard to catch their eye if you need something else along the way. Place gets packed so come a little before 6 to avoid waits.
