I am writing this review following an extremely frustrating experience related to billing and communication after a routine annual physical with Dr. Raksha Nepal on December 13, 2024. I scheduled this appointment strictly as a preventive care visit, with no active concerns or requests for diagnosis or treatment. The appointment was expected to be fully covered by insurance. However, I was later charged $150.80 for an office visit and $723.38 for lab work, in addition to a $57.72 Vitamin D test that I knowingly agreed to pay.... read more
Incredibly disappointed to learn how careless Dr. Nepal was with my mother. My mom went in for multiple symptoms. My mom complained about bumps on her head- Dr. Nepal didn't even examine them and told her they were cysts.. THEY WERE NOT. IT WAS CANCER and she never gave her a scan or an exam on them. How absolutely careless can you be? We trust Drs with our lives. Do yourself a favor, do not trust Dr. Nepal with yours.
She always takes plenty of time to go over test results.
UPDATE; In the past year I have seen other specialists as a result of a condition Dr. N detected and referred out for. She has handled all of my concerns and questions with straight forward suggestions as well as compassion. I saw Dr. Nepal for the first time earlier this year. First time was general aging concerns and arthritis problems. Then, I had had a very unsatisfactory visit with a doctor at the walk in clinic after a Covid vaccine reaction that lasted for months and then peaked.
