Amazing food, we tried darn near every labeled vegan option. Service was fantastic food was even better! Not a ton of vegan options in the Tahoe area and this place was a great change of pace! Highly recommended for people on plant based diet
The restaurant is understaffed for a Friday lunch hour. The hostess is the server. I understand things can take longer for a one woman show. However after she sat us down in the corner she ignored us and sat 2 more parties down and one more person at the bar. They all got drinks and their orders taken while we got zero service. No menu and no water, not once did she even glance this way. I had an amazing experience at Rakkan Ramen! The RUBY Shrimp Miso was absolutely delicious – rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The shrimp were cooked just right, and the broth had that deep umami taste that makes you want to finish every last drop. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was friendly and fast. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
