Had the chilli cucumber, karaage, Quartz (chicken based soup) and Ruby (miso prawn based soup). The sauce on the chilli cucumber was great, add more of the chilli oil that is provided on the table for more spice if you’d like. Maybe try smashing the cucumbers before tossing it in the sauce to let the sauce seep into the cucumber. Karaage was tasty and authentic. We got take out, quartz Ramen and a California roll. The Quartz Ramen was good enough. I'd give it 3.5 and it will satisfy the craving if in need. The Cali roll was a little toooo simple and a little funny/sad. I think they may have missed a few ingredients haha. Anyways, I'd recommend in a pinch but go in with tempered expectations.
It seems Kitchen staff was cooking wearing Headphones even without Drive-thru. Also it seems that they use Seaweeds with Artificial Color, so they should use healthier one for customers’ health. I really hope they will improve immediately.
The ramen is pretty decent for Truckee, even surprising! I’ve been here a few times and the service is hit or miss. Some days it’s great but sometimes it’s so slow. The staff is friendly when I can get a hold of them.
