While our family gathered here for a birthday celebration, the experience was disappointing. The restaurant does not cater to Kosher dietary requirements or those observing the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Additionally, the seating is quite rigid, making for an uncomfortable meal, and the pearl broth was fairly average. I am not sure I will be visiting again.
I had small lunch here and didn't expect not much at first. Food that I ordered was really great (well balanced and smoke flavored and pork and rice well mixed. Spicy oil was the kick). Great experience and great vibe.
Thursday, April 2nd, 3:30pm: empty but aesthetic and cozy. Service by a sweet waitress and food was delicious. Truffle Creamy ramen with their spicy garlic oil on the table was super delectable. No gluten free noodles. Thick and thin noodles from their company warehouse. Best takoyaki I’ve ever had. Been to LA, been to San Fran, been to Japan, and I’m so in love with this place’s takoyaki. I’ve been here 3 times now and the food has been fairly consistent. The first time wasn’t that great but I think I just got a ramen I didn’t care for. The next 2 times the spicy garnet ramen was really good. Staffing and time to get anything is an issue. They seem to be understaffed. When you go in, you will wait a bit to be seated, even when the place is mostly empty. The host also serves and busses which eats up their time.
