We used to have a great deal of respect for Dr. Gala. He delivered our first son, and saved my wife's life. It is for this reason that my wife trusted him with a health care issue 14 years later. The experience was not the same. He did nothing to resolve the issue. He performed unnecessary exams. My wife's health has not improved. He can't be trusted anymore.
Dr. Gala was the most helpful and informative gyno I may have ever had. I just went in today because my home gyno prescribed a third pap smear for me (I am only 21) after abnormal results from the first one, and he explained my entire report for me and clarified the results for me personally. He is a top physician and truly cares about his patients!
Dr. Gala's staff was helpful and friendly, plus the wait time was next to nothing! I hadn't been recommended by anyone, but I was in need of my yearly exam pronto. He and his nurse immediately put me at ease about seeing a different doctor. He seemed to honestly care about my health and never came across as too busy to answer my questions. I didn't feel judged and we even cracked a couple of jokes. My impression is that he is not only a knowledgeable doctor but a compassionate one.
