My first impression of her was that I was in the waiting room and she was discussing matters of her last patient who just left with the Receptionists at the front desk which immediately put me off. There’s no reason i should know what the person before me was being treated for which was a knee replacement and when she would be back which is in September. Dr Mallela is amazing. I was suffering form ankylosing spondylitis for years before I went to Dr. Mallela and was finally diagnosed. She has been monumentally helpful with my disease. There has even been a time when, do to a hicccup with the insurance, I wasn’t able to get my meds and she stayed open late on a Friday so I could come by after work to get a “sample” so I wouldn’t miss a dose.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mallela for many years, that goes back to when she worked for the Buffalo Medical Group. It’s important to have a long term patient doctor relationship, that’s why I stayed with her when she went into private practice. I’ve been pleased with her work and will remain a patient.
I have been a patient of Dr. Mallela for many years and Dr. Mallela and her nurse practitioner have been very responsive and helpful to me.
I can honestly say dr. Mallela saved my life. About 14 years ago my health declined drastically. Weight loss, weakness, fatigue, pain. I went to her she diagnosed me with lupus, raynauds and rheumatory arthritis, which no other health facility could figure out why and what was going on. She put me on the appropriate medication and administered infusions monthly for me and I have been able to have a better quality of life and I can work and function to the fullest.
