When GREEDY NONSENSE wins over common sense --- I arrived for my procedure, checked in, and was immediately told I had to pay $1,700 upfront. I explained that I had several recent medical visits (urgent care, ER, MRI, and two spinal injections) that all still needed to be processed by insurance, and I preferred to wait until everything cleared so I'd know the actual amount I owed. Checked with United Health Care to make sure routine colonoscopy was covered and confirmed it was as the instruct you to do. Even got a confirmation case number to make sure they would not give me any trouble. After doing the all night prep and feeling like crap had to argue with them for 20 minutes and they demanded an $1,800.00 payment (deposit) or they wouldn't do the procedure. Still 100% covered but now have to wait a month to reverse the credit card payment. Find a reputable place. Don't go here.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PROVIDER. GO INSTEAD TO GI OF THE ROCKIES. I was having an Ulcerative Colitis flare and called this company as they are my GI Provider. They said that they couldn't get me in for A MONTH! I noted that I had very serious and scary symptoms that were persisting. The receptionist then told me that the facility was recommending that I go to my primary care doctor. I trusted this, given that a medical facility specialized in GI care was recommending this. Providers are wonderful, but the office staff have their heads shoved so far up their asses that they might as well be gastroenterology experts as well. I have had 3 appointments and not once had a pleasant phone call with the office staff. They have messed up my prescriptions, accidentally canceled a prescription, and sent my prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy. Be careful of becoming a patient at Rocky Mountain Gastroenterology at any of their locations. Having worked at the corporate office I witnessed some very concerning situations with a CEO who is so insecure he demands absolute control in order to survive. I myself nearly became a victim of one employee who the CEO nicknamed the Taxi Driver after she removed her eyebrows.
