Dr. Behl and his entire staff - front desk, scheduler, assistant, NPs, nurses, techs - are an excellent team that has one priority: their patients wellbeing and health. They cared for my dad for over a decade and Dr. Behl stuck by my dad in times when it really wasn't part of his job. The love and compassion this team has for their patients is what makes them so special. Thank you for everything you did for my dad.
Dr. Behl is personally a great doctor. But if you visit him, in addition to his fees, Sutter Health/Alta Bates will also charge you a facility fee (in-person) or a telehealth fee (online). These fees are poorly advertised, and they're bad because they make costs unpredictable, even if you have health insurance: in addition to a predictable co-pay that you pay to Dr. Behl directly, you also pay a facility/telehealth fee to Alta Bates, and youreally have no idea how much it will be until the bill comes. Dr. Behl is a thorough and thoughtful physician, whose expertise and caring attention brought me and my family much needed reassurance after I had a scary blood clot.
