Dr Mehta is so thorough, patient and kind. My husband and I both see him and love his bedside manner. His PA is also wonderful!
Dr Mehta is great - friendly, attentive, informative, knowledgeable, an excellent doctor. The front office is the reason I probably wouldn’t return. When checking out, I explained that I had met my insurance deductible and suggested to the employee that she should call to verify (and was surprised she hadn’t already). She said she was too busy to call and would have to charge the full amount and I would have to get “on the list” for a refund (that phrase should have been a red flag for me). Dr R Mehta had been nothing short of phenomenal. In 2013, he worked on my heart for 40 minutes after it stopped ( coded.. it that the medical term??). He brought me back, sent me to Memorial Hermann in the Med Ctr which was absolutely horrible!!! On my recheck he was concerned about why they had not inserted a pacemaker.. He did do which is probably why I am still here today. If I knew then in 2013 what a pathetic, broken world we live in today, I almost wish I went to Heaven then. Schedule an appointment n I can't remember when I set the appointment for so I call to confirm n nothing no one answers n no email response either worst patient service I have ever gotten. After having my heart restarted 8x this office of a cardiologist is horrible.
