The office is not fancy, but the quality of care is very good. The doctor goes over test results line by line! I appreciate having a medical assistant on site who can draw blood. The assistant is very good at her job. The office manager runs a tight ship, lol. She keeps things in line.
I was told my hemoglobin was 5 and to go to the hospital immediately. I felt completely fine and asked if the test could be repeated first, but that wasn’t offered. At the hospital, my hemoglobin was 16 — the original result was clearly a lab error. I understand the need for caution, but refusing to confirm an extreme result that didn’t match the patient, and then responding with “maybe you should find another doctor” when questioned, is not good medical practice.
